Bank of Japan Governor Ueda will be holding his news conference in a few hours time.
The Bank left policy setting unchanged in its statement today:
The statement was cautious, noting rising risks with heightened uncertainty now and ahead. I expect Ueda will be usual cautious self again today.
USD/JPY is little changed after some movement higher earlier in the session (importer demand for USD cited as the catalyst):
