Moody’s (MCO) reported a very strong quarter with adjusted EPS of $3.92, beating expectations by nearly 7%, and record total revenue of $2.01 billion, up 11% year-over-year. Management delivered an impressive 500 bp improvement in adjusted operating margins to 53%, largely on the strength of strong issuance activity across its higher margin Moody’s Investor Service (MIS) segment.”
