Tesla investors may feel the stock has been treading water.
Coming into Wednesday trading, shares of the electric vehicle maker were down 2% since the company reported third-quarter numbers in October, trailing the S&P 500 by about 6 percentage points in that span.
That move belies some typical Tesla volatility. Shares traded at $498.83 in December, an all-time high, and as low as $382.78 in November.
