PKF Littlejohn Advisory UK, an audit, accountancy, tax and advisory services provider, has promoted Stratford Hamilton and Oliver Collinge to partner roles.
Hamilton leads the company’s Contentious Insolvency practice. He has been involved with several corporate and bankruptcy cases on behalf of the data protection, digital services and premium rate regulators.
Hamilton said: “I am proud to be stepping into the role of partner at a time when investigative insolvency work is more crucial than ever.
“With rising scrutiny around financial irregularities and director conduct, our focus on uncovering the facts and recovering value for stakeholders has never been more important.”
Collinge, based in Leeds, works across restructuring and formal insolvency procedures.
He has been involved in advising management, funders and investors on business rescue options, managing sales of distressed businesses and pursuing asset recovery cases where fraud or misfeasance is suspected.
Collinge said: “In today’s volatile economic climate, the expertise of insolvency practitioners has never been more relevant.
“Supporting management teams and investors to prevent business failure when possible, securing optimal outcomes for creditors when insolvency cannot be avoided and scrutinising transactions that may have unfairly disadvantaged creditors are key to preserving value and maintaining confidence throughout the market.”
Commenting on the appointments, PKF Littlejohn advisory partner and national head Paul Williams added: “These two promotions are not only an acknowledgement of their contribution to the success of our firm but also demonstrates the quality, diversity and cohesiveness of our PKF team nationally.”
In November last year, PKF Littlejohn Advisory launched a new service to assist businesses struggling with tax arrears.
This operation is managed from PKF Littlejohn’s Manchester office.
“PKF Littlejohn promotes Hamilton and Collinge to partner roles” was originally created and published by International Accounting Bulletin, a GlobalData owned brand.
